No, the goal of this video is to give people with OCD, and their loved ones, practical knowledge, advice and educational information. It does not take the place of therapy or a licensed therapist trained to treat OCD.
How do I find a licensed OCD therapist?
It's best to get therapy from a therapist or psychologist trained in Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy (ERP), a specialized type of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Contact your local or national mental health charity for more about ERP. In the USA, the International OCD Foundation has a comprehensive list of OCD therapists. In the UK, OCD Action can help direct you to proper care.
